Some Great Place is a personal travel publication written by Sam and Stephanie Robertstad. This page explains what information we collect from visitors to this site, how it is used, and what choices you have.

What we collect

Email addresses. If you sign up to receive dispatches, we collect the email address you provide through our subscription form. That form is hosted and processed by Beehiiv, our email delivery provider. Beehiiv’s own privacy policy governs how they handle and store that data, and you can review it at beehiiv.com/privacy.

Email engagement. Beehiiv tracks whether emails we send are opened and whether links within them are clicked. This is standard practice for email delivery services and helps us understand what content is useful to readers.

Website visits. This site uses Cloudflare Web Analytics to understand page traffic. It does not use cookies, does not track you across other websites, and does not collect any personally identifying information.

We do not collect payment information, physical addresses, or any information beyond what is described above.

How we use it

We use your email address for one purpose: to send you dispatches, destination guides, and occasional updates from Some Great Place. We do not sell, rent, or share your email address with third parties for marketing purposes.

Your choices

Every email we send includes an unsubscribe link. You can remove yourself from the list at any time, and that request is processed immediately by Beehiiv.
